It's allowed me to get my work seen for the first time by so many people. I've connected with more people in the past month ( With Living Record ) than i have in the last 4 years and it's all down to Living Record Festival.

We have made innumerable connections - with other artists, with producers, with companies, with venues. We have also hugely innovated our practice. This has been TRANSFORMATIVE.

We're set up to enable artists to make the most out of digital participation in the fringe and we believe our space will be a link in the chain, taking your piece further, whether this be in a live space or part of a digital tour.

Think of us as pathway into the fringe and one that protects your work from financial risks so you can focus on whats important and reclaim the spirit of experimentation within the fringe festival setting.

A total fee of £235 covers Brighton Fringe Registration and full access to our streaming platform. Companies receive 100% of the box office. The use of Living Record breaks down to £100 in total for the duration of the festival. That's not £100 for an hour space hire + 20 minutes tech time for a room underneath a nightclub bass drumb. Its £100 for the whole thing and we'll also manage your registration. This means you'll have zero expenditure on accommodation, travel or running costs, meanwhile your event is available for purchase for every single minute of the festival for an unlimited capacity of audiences.

These factors ensure you can experiment with ideas, build audiences, get reviews ( with the help of our amazing press team) , fundraise for a digital tour and become part of the Brighton Fringe conversation without risking six months of your rent or mortgage to do it.

Our venue is Brighton Fringe's first ever space exclusively set up for Grassroots Digital Art

We consider Digital Art as content which is designed specifically for the digital realm and represents innovation within this field.

The work should be pre-recorded or designed ( Not Live ). 20 mins plus ( Max 3 hours ) or containing a series which accumulates to at least a 20 minute viewing experience.

We encourage applications from all genre and styles of digital art as we strive for a programme which represents experimentation, accessibility and is celebrating creativity within the field.

This can include genres, although not exclusively, such as film, interactive film, experimental film and audio, Radio Play, Immersive Audio, E - Galleries, Zoom dramas, VR/XFR, web series, do it at home audio dramas, puppetry and Sketch or maybe even something that crosses and combines these genres all at once.

We will consider digital adaptations of pre-existing live face to face productions.

We will probably not program filmed versions of a live stage play, unless the company can articulate how a specific digital adaptation has been made.

Your experimentation is important to us and we welcome new ideas and styles no matter how unusual that might be.
